Female investors in early-stage tech are underrepresented in Latin America as they are globally. Among entrepreneurs, only 17% of venture-backed startups globally have a female co-founder, and globally, they capture only about 3% of VC funding.

LAVCA published an updated directory of the Top Women Investing in Latin American Tech. LAVCA identified 20 new partner-level women investing in Latin American VC/Tech in 2022, representing a 23% increase over 2021. LAVCA also published a companion list identifying 52 new junior investment professionals, a 16% increase over 2021.

LAVCA published the fourth annual list of Emerging Women Investors in Latin American Tech. The list includes 135 junior-level female investment professionals at VC firms investing in Latin American startups, a 16% growth over the 2020 list of 116 women. Access the list.
