Marcelo A. Pizzato Dantas is Director of Member Relations and Strategy at LAVCA. In this role, Marcelo coordinates LAVCA’s program development, sponsorships, and partnerships for the annual LAVCA Week conference. He also builds and maintains relationships with global and Latin American institutional investors, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations and family offices.
Before joining LAVCA, Marcelo was an associate director at UBS, where he coached and trained UBS’s new generation of financial advisors. Before joining UBS, Marcelo was a senior associate at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, serving international clients from Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile. At J.P. Morgan, he also served as a board member for the Adelante Business Resource Group. Marcelo was the co-lead for J.P. Morgan’s Hispanic Heritage Month.
Marcelo is currently a LinkedIn creator, a strategic partner for the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce, an advisor for the Brazilian fintech Conta Black, and a mentor for the global nonprofit Brazilian Student Association (BRASA).
