Flavia Almeida

Flavia Buarque de Almeida is currently CEO at Peninsula Participações. She is also a Board Member of BRF S.A., Carrefour S.A., Wine.com.br and GAEC Educação S.A. Ms. Buarque de Almeida served as a member of the Board of Overseers at Harvard University from 2011-2017. Prior to Peninsula, she was a Partner and Head of South America of the Monitor Group. She has also worked at Camargo Correa Group, where she was the head of the Holding of the Family (Participações Morro Vermelho S.A.), as well as a Board Member in many of its businesses. Prior to that, Ms. Buarque de Almeida was a Partner at McKinsey and Company, with significant experience in governance and strategy, working very intensively with family-controlled conglomerates. She has a BBA degree from FGV – Fundação Getulio Vargas, and an MBA from Harvard University. Ms. Buarque de Almeida also serves in educational and arts non-profit organizations in Brazil.
