Siguler Guff & Company and 2bCapital Acquire Minority Stake in Ourolac Indústria de Alimentos

Siguler Guff & Company, in a co-investment with 2bCapital, acquired a minority stake in Brazilian dairy company Ourolac Indústria de Alimentos S.A.

Siguler Guff & Company, LP, finalized the acquisition of a minority stake in Ourolac Indústria de Alimentos S.A. in co-investment with 2bCapital S.A. According to informed source the Transaction has a total value of $28 Million.

Ourolac Industria e Exportacao Ltda. was founded in 2002. The company’s line of business includes manufacturing natural cheese, processed cheese, cheese foods, cheese spreads, and cheese analogs.

Siguler Guff & Company, LP is a private equity firm specializing in fund of funds and direct investments. The firm, led by Andrew J. Guff, George W. Siguler, Donald P. Spencer, Jun Isoda and Kenneth James Burns is principally engaged in distressed and special situations investment, small business, emerging markets, as well as secondary investments.

2bCapital S.A. is a private equity firm specializing in investments in companies based in Brazil. The firm, led by Manuel Maria Pulido Garcia Ferrão de Sousa, Guilherme Rochlitz Quintão, Pedro HS Cervatti, Fabio Torres and Jean Pierre Luca Carlo Cedroni, is based in Sao Paulo.
