Farallon Capital Management Closes Successor Special Situations Fund Focused On Asia And Latin America With US$1.12b In Committed Capital

(Yahoo Finance) Farallon Capital Management, L.L.C., a global institutional investment management firm, announced the completion of fundraising for Farallon Asia Special Situations III, L.P. and Farallon Asia Special Situations Master III, L.P.,an Asia and Latin America focused private investment pool, with a single close on aggregate commitments of US$1.12b.

Farallon seeks opportunities where it may align FASS III’s interests with company shareholders and management and act as a value-added partner offering experienced strategic and financial advice, focusing on transitional situations, such as acquisitions, recapitalizations or restructurings. FASS III is Farallon’s third investment fund dedicated to investing in illiquid special situations across the capital structure in companies in or with a nexus to Asia and Latin America.
