Technology Entrepreneurs Gather in Uruguay

(Punta Tech) January 7, 2011 – In its third year, Punta Tech Meetup, welcomed 180 entrepreneurs from around the world, including Latin America, Europe and the United States, for a day of informal networking and discussion.
This year’s event featured a keynote interview between Martin Varsavsky and Andrew McLaughlin, Deputy Chief Technology Officer, The White House under the Obama Administration.
In addition, four entrepreneurs were selected to present their companies and projects in an “Elevator Pitch” format.
The event takes place in Punta del Este and gathers a select group of businesses, entrepreneurs and investors linked to areas focused on technology and the internet.
