Born in South Korea and raised in Argentina, Rebeca Hwang has experience as an innovator and inventor, founder and entrepreneur, social entrepreneur, educator and ecosystem builder, and holds engineering degrees and doctoral work from MIT and Stanford. Rebeca co-founded Kalei Ventures (a VC focused on Latin American Early-Stage startups); Rivet Ventures (a US VC with a gender perspective) and YouNoodle (a startup competition platform). She teaches Tech Entrepreneurship at Stanford; Entrepreneurship and Startup Investing at Thunderbird School of Global Management (where she has been distinguished with the Outstanding Faculty Award).
