In July 2017, IG4 Capital invested in Iguá Saneamento, a Brazil-based manager and operator of water supply and sewage systems, through concessions and public-private partnerships (PPPs).
Since IG4’s investment, Iguá has established a strong financial foundation and invested heavily in the expansion and modernization of water and sanitation infrastructure in Brazil, serving seven million people across 39 municipalities from its 15 concessions and three PPPs. Iguá has been recognized for its efforts with multiple distinctions, including the Brazilian National Water Sanitation Award, the certification of Green Bond by the Climate Bonds Initiative and reached 96 points out of 100 on GRESB.
