Alejandro’s practice involves complex corporate, structuring, mergers and acquisitions, distressed situations, private equity and venture capital transactions (with emphasis on multi-jurisdictional transactional work), corporate restructurings, cross-border bankruptcy and insolvency, corporate finance, antitrust, and international trade and investment. He has advised clients on complex cross-border regulatory matters, including securities-related, CFIUS & national security, foreign exchange and investment controls. He represents public and private multinationals, private equity, hedge and venture capital funds, GPs and investors, non-profit corporations, and global entrepreneurs in a vast array of transactions and matters (including fund formation, capital deployment and exits, mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures, and secondaries in the U.S., Latin America, Europe, and Asia). He has assisted the first Latin American third-party litigation fund in structuring and capital deployment work across several jurisdictions in Latin America.

Alejandro has over 31 years of experience in assisting clients in cross-border transactional work, with a special emphasis in Latin America, across multiple industries. His practice has been recognized by several legal publications, including Chambers Latin America in Corporate/M&A region-wide and for Argentina, and by Chambers Global in Corporate/M&A and International Trade, The Legal 500 Latin America, and Latinvex, among others. He has also worked on several cross-border, multijurisdictional investment transactions involving Asia, Europe, Middle East, and more recently Africa.

Alejandro has taught Commercial Law, International Business Transactions and Torts at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. He was also a professor of Business Organizations, Bankruptcy and Economic Analysis of Corporate Law at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and lectured on International Business Transactions at Southwestern University School of Law. He frequently lectures on FDI and cross-border investment matters.
