2bCapital Buys Minority Stake in Aramis (em português)

(Exame) The chain of menswear stores Aramis signed on Thursday the sale of a minority stake of 30% to private equity fund manager 2bCapital – controlled by Banco Bradesco and Banco Espírito Santo, according to people in the retail market. With revenues of about R$200m, the company founded in 1995 currently has 34 locations in 12 states. The deal was advised by boutique investment firm Target Advisor, who also advised in the sale of retailers VR Mensware, Bobstore and Mandi to Inbrands, the fashion arm fashion of fund manager Vinci Partners.
A rede de lojas de moda masculina Aramis, do empresário Henri Stad, assinou nesta quinta-feira a venda de uma participação minoritária de 30% para um fundo de private equity da gestora 2bCapital, controlada pelo banco Bradesco e pelo Banco Espírito Santo, segundo pessoas do mercado varejista. Com faturamento de cerca de 200 milhões, a empresa fundada em 1995 tem atualmente 34 unidades em 12 estados. O negócio foi assessorado pela boutique de investimento Target Advisor, que também intermediou a venda das varejistas VR Mensware, Bobstore e Mandi para a Inbrands, braço de moda da gestora Vinci Partners. Procuradas, a 2bCaspital, a Target e a Aramis não quiseram comentar.
