Lightspeed led a USD20m Series A for Muni, a Colombian social commerce platform with operations in Mexico and Brazil, with follow-on from monashees and Pear VC. Muni was founded by former Rappi Global Grocery Delivery Head Maria Echeverri. Angels participating included Simon Borrero and Felipe Villamarin (Rappi), Huey Lin (Affirm), Brynne McNulty (Habi), Fabian Gomez (Frubana), Florian Hagenbuch (Loft) and Hans Tung (GGV).
