IGNIA & Global Founders Lead US$2.5m Investment in Brazilian Startup DogHero (em português)

IGNIA Partners and Global Founders Capital led a US$2.5m investment in Brazilian pet-hosting startup DogHero, with participation from previous investors monashees+ and KaszeK Ventures. DogHero raised US$3.1m in 2016.

(Estadão) A DogHero, aplicativo brasileiro que conecta donos de cachorro a anfitriões que hospedam pets em casa, levantou R$ 8 milhões em investimentos, recursos que devem ser usados para acelerar o crescimento na América Latina. Liderada pelos fundos alemão Global FoundersCapital e mexicano Ignia Partners, a nova rodada contou com a participação dos investidores Monashees e Kaszek Ventures, que já participaram de aporte anterior.

Pra cachorro
Em três anos de história, a DogHero construiu uma base de 15 mil anfitriões em 650 cidades brasileiras e mais de 1,1 mil em 20 cidades da Argentina, país em que opera desde junho de 2017. Agora, a empresa quer se estabelecer no México e se consolidar como um hub de serviços para animais de estimação na América Latina, onde vivem mais de 100 milhões de cães. Até hoje, a DogHero recebeu cerca de R$ 18 milhões em investimento.
