Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. “We are excited to acquire such an iconic brand in the semi-trailer industry,” said Scott McDonough, Managing Director at AGC. “We believe Fruehauf is well-positioned to benefit from growing transportation needs in Mexico as the country’s middle class continues to expand.”
Javier Garcia-Teruel, Managing Director at AGC, commented, “Fruehauf is recognized as the quality and service leader in semi-trailers and has had a solid performance. Its potential for future growth made the company attractive, as well.”
