Prosperitas Capital Invests in Uruguay-based Start-up

(Prosperitas Capital Partners) March 4, 2011 –Prosperitas Capital Partners, through its venture capital fund, Fondo Emprender, announced an investment of approximately US$500,000 in PedidosYa!, a start-up in Uruguay that offers a centralized online food portal.

The capital will help the company consolidate its growth in major countries throughout the region.

Fondo Emprender has supported PedidosYa! since October 2009 when it made an initial investment of US$50,000. It has also helped the company tap into regional angel networks and
