The Latin American Venture Capital Association (LAVCA) will host the next in an ongoing series of technical seminars for Latin American pension funds in Lima, Peru on March 9-10, 2011.
The invitation-only program is targeted towards pension fund investment officers and active institutional investors from Peru, Chile and Colombia and will provide valuable insights into the design and management of a successful private equity and venture capital funds program.
The two day workshop will be led by Pierre-Yves Mathonet, author of several books on private equity and a permanent member of the private equity subcommittee of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® (CAIA) Program. Melvin Escudero, a former Peruvian financial regulator will also play a key role in the program.
This seminar follows successful workshops hosted by LAVCA in Colombia, Brazil and Mexico throughout 2009 and 2010. Each is coordinated in collaboration with local partners and with the support of the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF/FOMIN).
