(InfoMoney) SulAmérica Investimentos reported to the market on Monday (September 9) that it signed an agreement with private equity fund manager Pantheon Investments. The goal is to structure a fund to invest in international private equity. According SulAmérica, the fund’s target LPs are the Brazilian pension funds – these funds may invest up to 10% of their assets outside the country using a local investment vehicle. Read more

(peHUB) Brookfield Asset Management said that its most recent Timberlands Funds raised $1 billion. The target for Brookfield Timberlands Fund V L.P. was $750 million and investors include sovereign wealth funds, public and private pension plans and insurers.
