In November the company received help from the Rio de Janeiro accelerator Pipa (part of Start-Up Brazil and campaigning to attract foreign entrepreneurs). Recently, the company attracted another partner: impact investment firm Vox Capital. Read more
(Pulso Social) b-datum, a Brazil-based provider of backup solutions in the cloud, has received a million-dollar boost. The company announced an investment of US$1.4 million (R$2.8) from Haya Investimentos late last month. Read more

(Pulso Social) Argentine company Properati closed a seed funding deal for its regional expansion. The amount of the investment hasn’t been officially revealed, but we’ve heard it’s around US$200,000 (AR$1 million). Interestingly, the funds are from angel investors who have already invested in Sumavisos.com as well as entities such as U.S.-based GroupArgent and NXTP Labs (where the startup is currently being accelerated). TMG Capital adquire controle da NeuroTech
(Jornal Valor) SÃO PAULO – A TMG Capital anunciou hoje a compra da NeuroTech, companhia especializada em softwares de algoritmo que ajudam companhias a obter informações estratégicas com base em enormes bancos de dados. O valor investido na aquisição não foi revelado. A NeuroTech, sediada em Recife, tem faturamento anual de cerca de R$ 25 milhões e está no mercado há 13 anos.
